My husband and I took a mini road trip to Michigan for our honeymoon (we live in Chicago) We stayed in Saugatuck and then visited a bunch of wineries. I'm sure that you could visit a bunch of places along the east coast. Or you could take a drive north to New York or Boston or you could go south and visit Asheville NC (very cool place!) or even Charleston SC (very romantic!) If you need more ideas email me!
