Where do I find the best package deals to mazatlan for our honeymoon in Feb 09?
We have never been to Mexico, was told Mazatlan is the place to go. Searching for the best deal. I would like 14 days, hubby wants 7, so I think 10 days will be the best. Would like all inc. from Edmonton. A stop or overnight in another city would be ok.

WestJet flies directly to Mazatlan, three or four days a week in February.
Best way to go…No need to land in USA to go through landing, customs, and all that BS. Flight leaves Edmonton at 10:30 am, not the ungodly hour of 7:00 am. – means leaving for the airport at 7:00 instead of 3:30!!
We live in Edmonton and flew Westjet last year and will again this year (in February). Avoid February 7 (Saturday – mucho dollars). Total cost of a flight is about $800 per person, including all taxes and fees.
I would suggest the Inn at Mazatlan or the Playa Mazatlan, both in the Golden Zone. However you can also check with WestJet, they also have package deals.

We own at Pueblo Bonito Mazatlan. Its beautiful. There is also is emerald bay. Its very secluded. Sincce you might be going to 10 days, MY suggestion would be to stay at a resort for a week then try a smaller hotel downtown so you can see and feel the real Mexico from there. We stayed at the la siesta and found it a perfect spot. Its NOT a resort but rather a budget Hotel within walking distance to all attractions to downtown. (a must see) Ask for an Ocean view. It is across the street from the ocean. I wish I was there now.
